We had the girls pictures made this weekend-they turned out so well!

My New Kitchen

HI!!

So before I start out-I must tell you all again-how wonderful my husband is—not only is he a great husband —a best friend and fantastic father—he is a man that has pride and willing to take a chance and explore his talents :)--He has learned when to take a chance and when to have patience and how to really work things out-

So as most of you know-when we moved into our house almost 5 years ago—thanks to my father in law and my mom and sister—we were able to paint over or take down most of the wall-paper—the one thing left dating our home was really our kitchen— For Christmas we were blessed to receive gift cards to Lowes to help fix this problem :) Me being who I am figured we would have to pay someone to help us—I WAS WRONG—I had no idea how much of an improvement this would be on our kitchen—and how much fun Chip and I would have doing it--(Mainly chip)--I held the tape measure here—moved this there—handed over tools—you know the easy stuff!!

And then to my surprise—he told me it was also time for a new stove/oven—as many of you know mine was a drop in and was so very old and had many issues—So Not only do we have new counters-but we got a new stove and even new faucet—and my husband is the mastermind behind it all! He is amazing—My father in law helped us wire up the new stove and think out loud how to finish our counters with the sink—Thanks Chuck!

So here are pictures of before during and after--(note when you see the silver tool chest-that is holding the counters down to allow the glue to dry :)) We do have to still add a small border above the back splash and paint the window seal—it is made out of our old counters too--

Well enough said—enjoy the pictures—but try to also come visit us in person—pictures do not do it justice—and this is all thanks to Chip---He Rocks!!

Fossil Rim

Chip and I took the girls to Fossil Rim this past Saturday--and they had a great time--Chloe has a new favorite animal--the Ostridge--lol and Campbell was not so fond--here are a few pictures!

Strep Strep and a Ring Worm

Well Between the two girls--Campbell has had strep twice since Saturday, the 29th--(diagnosed again on Monday) and Chloe has a ring worm--we are quite consumed with illness and it is sooooo not fun!
